Dining Advisory Committee

The Vol Dining Advisory Committee gives students a direct voice in shaping the campus dining experience. Members work with dining leadership to share feedback, discuss ideas, and help shape the future of dining across campus.

What Members Help Shape

Members provide feedback on topics such as:

  • Menus and dining options
  • Service experience and operations
  • Meal plans and locations
  • Dietary needs and preferences
  • Promotions, events, and student outreach
  • Sustainability efforts

Time Commitment

Committee members are requested to commit to a two-year term, unless they are graduating before their term ends. The Dining Advisory Committee meets three times a semester. Students typically participate in 2–3 meetings per semester, with occasional opportunities for tastings, focus groups, and special events.

The 2026–2027 meeting dates are:

Sept. 3 · Sept. 29 · Nov. 4 · Feb. 10 · Mar. 17 · Apr. 20
