Our in-house bakery crafts a delightful selection of cookies, cakes, pastries, and specialty desserts that perfectly complement your catering order. Whether you need a custom cake for a special celebration or assorted treats for your event, the Vol Bakery adds a delicious touch to any occasion.
Payment & Pick Information
Payment:
Tax rate State sales tax will be charged to off campus bakery purchases.
- All orders must be paid for in advance. A credit card on file or a mailed check covering the full event cost is required at least five (5) business days before the order pick up date.
- Accepted payment methods include: Visa, MasterCard, American Express or a business check.
- Credit card payments can be made by calling Vol Catering at 865-974-2406 or by submitting a credit card authorization form.
- A $35 returned check fee will be added to any invoice if payment is returned.
- All bakery purchases are subject to Tennessee state sales tax. A valid tax exemption certificate must be provided prior to the event to waive applicable tax.

FAQs
Vol Bakery requires 48 hours lead time for menu items and 72 hours lead time for specialty cakes and petit fours. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday.
Vol Catering will require a credit card to be on file, or a check mailed for the total price of the event five (5) business days before the event. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and business checks are accepted forms of payment. Sales tax will be added to each order unless you provide a copy of your tax exemption certificate before the event.
If paying by credit card, please call the Catering Department at 865-974-2406 with your payment or fill out our credit card authorization form. A returned check processing fee of $35.00 will be added to your invoice if a payment is returned.
- Free parking for Vol Bakery pickup is located at 2106 Andy Holt Ave, Knoxville, TN 37996
- When you see the “Do Not Enter” sign on Andy Holt Ave, make a right turn and park in the Student Aquatic Center’s back parking lot, closest to the tennis court fence. Look for the sign that says: “Reserved Parking UT Bakery Only. 30-Minute Limit. Tow-Away Zone.” Park in one of these designated spots.
- After parking, cross the street to Rocky Top Dining Hall. Enter through the main entrance, then immediately take the glass door on your left. From there, turn right to find the Rocky Top P.O.D. market. This is where your Vol Bakery items will be ready for pickup.
